Schulthess becomes world class

This statement is self-confident. We think we have the right to be: Because our machines stand out in speed, efficiency, sustainability and – because appearance also plays its part – in design.

Not only is Schulthess – CEO Thomas Marder at the helm of our company, but he also exemplifies what outstanding performance means. He is a multiple Swiss champion in the Masters category of athletics and regularly participates in world and European championships.

Schulthess and Weltklasse Zürich

Schulthess and Weltklasse Zürich: That fits. On the one hand, because performance and top results are crucial both for the sporting event and for Schulthess. On the other hand, because Weltklasse Zürich has made it its mission to be an inspiration for a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Aspects that are also part of our mission statement: “We see healthy, productive and motivated employees as a success factor.”

Schulthess speedUp community

Schulthess is spinning for joy – even on the running track. Not lip service, but an everyday commitment. Our partnerships with promising track and field athletes and our commitment to future-oriented projects are simply a joy. Because believing in someone motivates and connects. By the way, this also applies to our employees, whom we actively support in their individual professional careers.

Géraldine Frey – Step by step to success

She is a member of the 4 x 100m national relay team, with which she ran in the World Championship finals in Eugene and Budapest. And she became Swiss 200m champion in 2022: Géraldine Frey impresses – us too. And because we have a nose for talent, we are happy about the Géraldine/Schulthess collaboration.

By the way: At ETH Zurich, the native of Zug proves she is not only fast on her feet, but also intellectually: That’s where she’s completing her Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences.

Lionel – has been running for as long as he can remember

Over the 400m distance, no one can hold a candle to him. As reigning Swiss champion, U23 European vice-champion and finalist at the European Championships over this distance, he has already achieved a number of milestones on his way to greatness.

Schulthess and Lionel: This connection is more than just a financial commitment. Because from time to time Lionel trains together with Schulthess –CEO Thomas Marder. Cheer them on – may the faster one win!

Mathieu – in flight to top performance

Schulthess and Mathieu: Both are taking off! He can jump over the ten hurdles (each 106.7cm high!) on a 110m track in just 13.48 seconds, making him the sixth fastest 110m hurdler in Swiss history. The internationally experienced athlete has multiple medals at the Swiss Championships in the 60m hurdles and participation in the European Indoor and Outdoor Championships under his belt.

William Reais – winging his way to top performance

The likeable top sprinter from Graubünden is a bundle of energy – and a successful one at that: European U23 champion over 200m, semi-finalist at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, multiple Swiss champion over 100m and 200m. Yet he’s just 24 years young.

William trains together with Mujinga Kambundji and her manager. As if that’s not the best of conditions. William and Schulthess: a good fit.
